How to delete your account and data

1. Open your email app and use the address you signed up to Calorie AI with.
2. Send a message to nelucode@gmail.com with the subject Delete my Calorie AI account.
3. We reply to confirm. We may ask a question to check the request comes from the account owner.
4. We complete deletion within 30 days of your request.

Signed in with Google? Use the Google account address you signed in with.

What is deleted

• Your Firebase Authentication account (email, display name, sign-in method).
• Your Cloud Firestore documents: profile, plan, preferences and the count of free AI scans used.
• Your Firebase Realtime Database data: presence and the daily summaries.
• Your Pro cloud backup of meals and weigh-ins, if you had one.

What is not deleted by us

• Anonymised crash and analytics data kept by Google under its own retention settings: up to 14 months for analytics data and 90 days for crash reports.
• Purchase records held by Google Play. Manage these with Google.

Meal photos were never uploaded, so there is nothing to delete in the cloud. Photos sent for an AI scan are not stored by Calorie AI.

Data on your phone

Your on-device data is not removed by account deletion. To clear it:

• Use Reset all data in the app’s Settings, or
• Uninstall the app. This deletes the on-device database and the meal photos.

Signing out alone keeps your on-device data.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a Pro subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play, under Payments & subscriptions. See Subscription and billing.
