Estimates for general wellness
Calorie AI gives estimates to help you eat with more awareness. It is not a medical device and not medical advice.
Calorie AI is built for general wellness. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it does not replace professional advice.
AI results can be wrong
The AI may misidentify foods or misjudge portions, and cooking oils, sauces and hidden ingredients are hard to see in a photo. Every estimate shows a ± range and unsure items are flagged, but the range is not a guarantee. Check and adjust each result before you log it. Daily calorie and macro targets are estimates from the details you enter.
When the app is not suitable
Do not rely on Calorie AI if you:
- are managing a medical condition, such as diabetes or a condition that needs a set diet;
- have, or may have, an eating disorder, or counting food makes you anxious;
- are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- are under 18, unless a parent, guardian or healthcare professional guides you.
Talk to a professional
Check with a doctor, dietitian or other qualified healthcare professional before you change your diet, start a weight-loss or weight-gain plan, or if you have any concern about your health. If you feel unwell, get medical help. Do not delay seeking advice because of something in this app.
Allergies
The app does not detect allergens. Do not use it to decide whether a food is safe for an allergy or intolerance.
